The Handsome Husband & Me

There are two things that you probably already know about me just by reading the title of this blog: I'm an Army wife and I love food (specifically cupcakes)!

My husband and I were college sweethearts and we got married in August 2007, shortly after graduating.

Then the crazy Army life began! So far we've moved several times, endured multiple geographical separations (the longest being a year long deployment) and made some really amazing friends in all different parts of the country. The Army has been good to us so far, and we obviously hope that will continue on indefinitely!

We don't yet have any kiddos, but we do have one furry child that stole our heart a few years ago.

Her name is Libby and she is a terrier mix of some sort who we adopted from the SPCA (rescue, don't buy from breeders or pet stores!). She fluctuates between either being very spunky and "talkative" or very, very lazy.

I started C&CB as a way to chronicle my daily life as an Army wife, home cook, and everything in between. This blog is something I maintain for fun, not for profit or to become some "famous" blogger. I'm not the most consistent blogger, but I do try to check in at least once a week.

My blog is also constantly evolving. It changes based on what interests me at the time, whether that be health, fitness, cooking, baking, military life, etc.
