I LOVE reading people's public posts on Facebook! It makes me happy when people are in love and aren't afraid to show it. I am one of these people that you speak of, and I feel entitled to my public displays of affection given that we JUST got married, and my hubby's on another continent! That's like saying that we shouldn't give each other a hug or kiss in public (if we were actually together in person).

We also learned the hard way about the movers missing a drawer. Luckily, they only missed a few pieces of stoneware..nothing to big. Hope the unpacking goes smoothly!

I have. We moved from the southeast to the northwest and then two years later got moved from the northwest back to the southeast. We did DITY moves both ways but let me tell you, when we got to where we currently live, the movers missed a bunch of stuff belonging to the people who lived here before us. They previous tenants were also nice enough to leave us a garage full of paint, chemicals and cleaners they couldn't move. Thanks people. Next time try it in a blizzard....yeah we did that.

Landon and I are just a step behind you in this process. We have been looking for a house in Austin for about a month now and have put offers on three and are finally under contract on one. It has been such an emotional roller coaster! We have the inspection on Wednesday and I'm hoping all goes well. I think it will, the home was built in 2005. So its not very old and everything appears to be in good condition. But you have been in a hard situation being so far away, so I don't envy that. Good luck hope everything goes well with the closing! And congrats!
